Robert Van Horne is a graduate of the “Philadelphia Musical Academy.” He majored in piano and composition and has studied both Classical and Jazz music with several teachers, including the well-known pianist, George Shearing.

In the past, Robert has performed on cruise ships and major hotels both in Asia and the United States as well as on TV and radio. Currently, he has released seven CDs and three piano music books one of which was published by Warner Brothers. He now publishes his original Piano Arrangements and Piano/Vocal scores with Hal Leonard Company at SHEET MUSIC PLUS and SHEET MUSIC DIRECT. 

He is a member of ASCAP and is a past winner of The Music Teachers Of California Composer Today Awards - MTAC.

Presently, he lives in Northern California and gives entertaining concerts of light classical and popular music to audiences of all ages.
